8. Laquon Treadwell, WR Ole Miss
Likely the most talented receiver in the league, Treadwell has all the physical tools needed to be a top-caliber player nationally, but the system will likely work against him. First, Ole Miss doesn’t have any kind of established quarterback. And even if one emerges, the Heisman process is pretty stacked against wide receivers anyhow.
Desmond Howard (1991) was the last true receiver to win it, so it would take a super-human effort from Treadwell, who is coming off a serious injury as well.
