Status
The FSU commit and consensus four-star/top-100 player remains fully pledged to the Seminoles, but Tennessee has emerged as a school of interest over the spring. Robinson came up for a much-publicized visit during spring practice and made no secret on social media that he had a great time and was impressed with UT. Butch Jones made headlines a few weeks later for sending Robinson a huge digital birthday card, which Robinson posted on his Twitter account.

It’s too early to say the Vols have a great chance in this one, but if he returns another time or two, the Vols could be considered a legitimate threat to flip him at some point.

 How He Fits

Robinson, who plays primarily as a 3-4 DE in high school, has the combination of size and speed that makes him almost unblockable at the high school level. He blows up virtually every run that comes his way, and is fast enough to track down plays that are run away from his side.

The Vols would have an embarrassment of riches at defensive end if they could flip Robinson, as he would join the likes of Derek Barnett, Kyle Phillips and others to form potentially one of the most talented groups of defensive ends in the nation in 2016.
