Status
The Vols are in great shape with the hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end prospect from Lexington, Tenn. – which is located approximately halfway between Nashville and Memphis. Like just about any other prospect from the western portion of the state, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are in on him too, but he’s likely the Vols’ to lose at this point if they make him a priority.

How He Fits
Could almost be classified as an ‘athlete’ because he fills a variety of rolls for his high school team including running back and various spots on defense and special teams. His most likely home, however, in college is at defensive end if he can add a little bit more weight to his long frame.
He’d be a bit of a project for defensive line coach Steve Stripling to mold, but he has the raw size and athleticism to become an impact player at the college level with a little bit of time and work. Space will be tight in this class, so it’d be interesting to know exactly where he falls on UT’s wish list, but good chance he ends up in Knoxville if the Vols truly want him.
