Status
There hasn’t been a ton of interaction between Tennessee and Tuitt recently, but he told 247Sports in the spring that the Vols are still right near the top of his list. A longtime friend of former Vol Rajion Neal, Tuitt seems to have taken an early interest in UT and plans to make it to Knoxville at some point before making his final decision.

How He Fits
A lot of the guys that Vols have been interested in this year fit more of a true tackle mold, but Truitt projects as more of a guard at this point, even though he plays tackle at Sandy Creek. At least in his junior film, he’s still a little thin and lacks top-end power, but he plays with great technique, good footwork and drives opponents off the ball.
He’s an intriguing prospect who could really blow up with 20 or 30 more pounds of muscle on his frame. He’d be a good match in this class if the Vols can land a couple tackles as well.
