Vol Target Profiles: QB and RB

Matthew Falcon

6-1, 210 pounds
Southfield, Mich. (Southfield)

Other top offers
Michigan (committed), Michigan State, Oregon, Arkansas

Status
After calling Tennessee his leader for an extended period of time, Falcon switched courses and committed to the in-state Wolverines in April. That might end his relationship and consideration of Tennessee, but it’s worth watching to see if the Vols can get him back on campus before Signing Day. The Vols snatched John Kelly out of Michigan last year, so it can be done.

 How He Fits

Falcon is a downhill runner who has sufficient speed for the college level, but enjoys running over defenders as well. The Vols were in on him early and the interest was mutual. We’ll see if his name gets back into consideration as the Vols look for at least a couple backs this class.
