Daniel:
K: Aaron Medley
P: Tommy Townsend
KR: Evan Berry
PR: Cam Sutton
Thoughts: Sticking with my pre-spring predictions here. Berry and Sutton gave me no reason to think that they won’t be the starters in the return game. Medley will be the kicker. Punter remains the biggest question, and I think it will be a battle between Townsend, transfer Nathan Renfro and Trevor Daniel, but my pick remains Townsend for now.
Houston
K: Aaron Medley

PR: Cam Sutton
Thoughts: Nothing to change on special teams. Medley looked consistent in the work we were able to see, while the punters looked a bit shaky at times. Evan Berry has All-American potential as a kick returner, as does Cam Sutton at punt returner…if teams will give him kicks that he’s able to return…which I’m not betting on.

Thoughts: Nothing changes here for me. Berry and Sutton are two of the most electric returners in the SEC. Aaron Medley is one of the more accurate kickers in the conference as well and newcomer Tommy Townsend should be the favorite to win the starting job at punter when he steps on campus this summer.
