No Vols were drafted over the weekend, breaking a streak of over 50 years that dated back to 1963 of having at least one Vol selected in the NFL Draft.
But, as of late Sunday night, four Vols had been given undrafted opportunities– defensive lineman Jordan Williams (Jets), cornerback Justin Coleman (Vikings), punter Matt Darr (Dolphins) and quarterback Justin Worley (Browns). It’ll be an uphill climb for all of them, but there are plenty of NFL success stories of undrafted players not only making a team, but going on to have long careers. Here’s a look at what their competition will look like in each individual situation.
