Twenty-four hours before the Orange and White Game, the Vols have some more concerning legal news to deal with.
Tennessee rising senior wide receiver Von Pearson has been identified as a suspect by the Knoxville Police Department in an alleged rape, according to multiple reports.
No arrest has been made, nor have any charges been filed as of early Friday afternoon.
WATE-TV in Knoxville reports that the alleged actions took place around Friday morning at 6 a.m. ET at the University Walk Apartments, located at 2308 Forest Avenue. The Knoxville-News Sentinel also adds this information about two other current Vols being listed as witnesses.
Don Jacobs of the KNS obtained a more detailed incident report from the police. Alton "Pig" Howard and Dimarya Mixon listed as witnesses.

Pearson, originally a native of Newport News, Va., came to the Vols by way of Feather River Community College in California in the 2014 signing class. He fought through an ankle injury in 2014 to appear in 11 games, making eight starts, and collecting 38 catches for 393 yards and a team-high five touchdowns.
Pearson’s worked with the first and second units this spring and is being counted on to be a key contributor at wide receiver heading into the 2015 season.
The Vols are five months removed from suspending linebacker A.J. Johnson and defensive back Michael Williams from the team amidst sexual assault allegations in mid-November. Both men, no longer with the program, have been indicted in that case and have entered not-guilty pleas.
