With all the talk about Dillon Bates, Gavin Bryant and the potential emergence of Darrin Kirkland Jr. this fall, Kenny Bynum just keeps ticking at inside linebacker. He handled many of the starting reps at that spot throughout the course of spring and has established himself as at least a reliable option who knows the defense in and out. Those other names and Jakob Johnson will all push him in the fall. This is far from a decided position battle. But Bynum seemed to be the guy getting the most valuable reps, and that’ll only make him stronger as the competition unfolds.
