We’ve seen bucket hats, UT leather helmets, fancy suits and almost everything in between as various future Vols have made commitments over the past couple of years.
Newest four-star quarterback commitment Jarrett Guarantano took it to a new level – going New York City-big during his announcement on Wednesday afternoon.
While he was making his announcement at a pretty traditional ceremony in New Jersey, Bleacher Report also put out a fantastic video featuring Guarantano facing several pressuring tweets from fans of Rutgers, Ohio State and Tennessee as he walks the streets of New York.
He then says:
“No. This is my decision. Nobody else’s. I worked too many early morning, too many late nights not to do what’s best for me. No more noise. No more clutter. No more distractions. I’m ready for what the future holds…Knoxville, Tennessee, here I come,” as he reveals the Power T up on a big screen in Times Square.
