9. The tight end is back
Remember these guys? After almost completely disappearing from the offense in 2013, the tight end re-emerged in the offense to an extent in 2014. Injuries and the need for the, to help in blocking limited their impact to an extent, but Ethan Wolf showed signs that he can be a top-flight SEC tight end. As a freshman, the 6-5, 240-pound Wolf had 23 catches for 212 yards. Amazingly, that’s more than double the production of the entire position from the 2013 season.
He looks even stronger and quicker this season, and with help from a relatively deep group of backups, the tight end spot has a chance to grow into a strength for this team.
