Running back – 2016 Class
6-1, 215 pounds
Southfield, Mich. (Southfield H.S.)

Other top offers
Michigan State, Ohio State, NC State, Northwestern

Status
Falcon named the Vols his leader in early February of 2015 and the Michigan native certainly could follow the footsteps of fellow Michigan native John Kelly (RB, class of 2014), in coming to Knoxville. The Vols, despite their state of Michigan connections, will have to battle in this one, however. Michigan offered in mid-February and has put running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley on his recruitment. Ohio State and several other Big 10 teams are in the mix as well.

 How He Fits

Running back is among Tennessee’s top needs in the 2016 recruiting cycle, and Falcon is emerging as one of the top options on the board, and the interest appears to be mutual. Falcon certainly checks the size box – checking in over 6 feet tall and somewhere in the 210-220 pound range. Butch Jones and Mike DeBord are trying to enhance the power running game in Knoxville, and bringing somebody in like Falcon would certainly help. The biggest question is if he has the speed to be an every-down back in the SEC, but regardless, he’d add some much-needed depth to UT’s thin group of running backs.
