8. Coach John Calipari
I don’t hate John Calipari. I think he’s brilliant as a matter of fact. He figured out the flaws in the NCAA system, and he massaged those flaws into a perfect formula for both a competitive basketball program and a revenue landslide. John Calipari however is the Nick Saban of college basketball, thus, he must be hated – just like Bill Belichick and LeBron James.
Perfection is not tolerated, and while Cal is hilariously far from perfect, he has figured it all out when it comes to college hoops. Most people agree with me on this, even if they struggle to admit it, the part that sucks is when Kentucky fans feel the need to tell you about Cal. It’s as though they are assigned a vocabulary at birth that is limited to anecdotal evidence of Cal being the best.
Talk until you’re blue in the face about John Calipari, Cat fans, he’ll still be a great coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers next year.
