Malone’s been on the All-Potential Team since arriving last spring, but the five-star recruit was never able to consistently put it together. Some nagging injuries contributed to that. But it’s also a fair assumption that inconsistent practice habits – something coaches regularly were on him about during the season – were a factor as well. He has all the potential in the world with great size and athleticism. He also showed some flashes of production in 2014 – catching 23 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown. This offseason will go a long way towards showing if he can grow into the No. 1 receiver that many believe he can be.
