5. Cornerback
Top corner Cam Sutton is just going into his junior season, but he’s a big NFL early entry risk if he keeps playing at the high level he has the past two season. Behind him, in terms of guys on the roster right now in good standing, rising sophomore Emmanuel Moseley is really the only other player with notable experience. Malik Foreman has played some, and the versatile Rashaan Gaulden can play almost anywhere in the secondary.
Tennessee is bringing in Micah Abernathy, junior-college transfer Justin Martin and Darrell Miller in the 2015 class – all of whom are likely to get a shot at corner. But adding depth, especially if Sutton moves on, will be important in 2016. The Vols already have a pair of commitments, and are in good shape with some others.
