Daniel: I don’t know how you can ask for much more. This was a consensus top-5 class and, by most rankings, the second-best class in the SEC, only trailing Alabama. Recruiting is always an inexact science, and some of these guys won’t pan out. There are a few spots that may need one more class to really catch up on depth as well – space wasn’t unlimited, after all. But Jones and company nailed it with this class and proved that 2014 wasn’t a fluke. The offensive and defensives lines – two areas that the Vols have really struggled in recruiting over the past decade or so – got much better and deeper. The quarterback class is impressive and adding playmakers like Preston Williams, Alvin Kamara, Justin Martin and others will make some improved areas even better on UT’s roster.  Grade: A

Houston: Butch Jones and staff put together a consensus top-5 recruiting class coming off of a 7-6 season – the fewest 2014 wins of all the teams that finished inside the top-10 in the final recruiting rankings – and filled needs across the board. They signed arguably the best offensive line, defensive line and quarterback classes in the country and added quality depth at every position. Not everyone in the class will be stars, but this coaching staff has once again proven that they have what it takes to recruit at an extremely high level. In the SEC, you win championships with strong quarterback play and winning the battle in the trenches, and this class will give Tennessee a great chance to do just that for many years to come. This was an outstanding job by Butch Jones and company. Grade: A
