RTI’s Take:

Daniel: One of the most unique personalities in the 2015 class, Williams has the chance to be a superstar at Tennessee. He’s an absolute freak of an athlete that reminds me a little bit of Da’Rick Rogers in a good way. He was too big to be covered in high school and too fast once he got his hands on the ball. He often made opposing defenses look foolish trying to tackle him. The biggest concern is that he’ll be coming off a knee injury that could limit his early success. But with good depth and experience at receiver next year, the Vols should be able to ease him into playing time.

Houston: If not for the late-season knee injury, Williams would likely be in prime position to earn a spot in the two-deep by the start of the 2015 season – he is that talented. Butch Jones said today that the plan for Williams is to be healthy and ready by the start of fall camp, and if that happens then there will still be a chance for him to crack the rotation. Williams is smooth, fast, acrobatic and physical. He’s everything you look for in a go-to receiver and has the potential to go down as one of the all-time greats at the position for the Vols.
