RTI’s Take:

Daniel: Hall is somewhat of a raw prospect who played offensive and defensive tackle in high school. He certainly has size and athleticism for his frame. He plays with reckless abandon sometimes in his high school film, and that can be a good thing when it’s harnessed a bit and coached at the college level. It probably isn’t fair to expect Hall to contribute immediately on the offensive line, but give him some time to develop technically, and he could be a quality starter in a couple years for this rebuilding offensive line.

Houston: Chance Hall has played along the offensive line for less than two full seasons, so he would classify as a true “project” in my opinion. He moved from defensive tackle as a junior and suffered an achilles injury before his senior season began, so I would guess that he is a likely redshirt candidate for Tennessee at this point. His demeanor is what you look for in an OL, and with development could develop into a multi-year starter.

Reed: Depending on how his achilles heals, Hall could potentially participate in spring practice. That would be a big step in his development. He has the frame and athleticism to develop into a consistent player at the SEC level, but he shouldn’t be expected to be a major contributor this fall even if he is 100% healthy.
