Tennessee’s top remaining target for the 2015 recruiting class is currently on his official visit to Tennessee, and Butch Jones is pulling out all of the stops to make sure he ends up in orange and white.
Drew Richmond has been committed to Ole Miss since September, but that hasn’t stopped Vol coaches, commits, and even some former players from recruiting the talented offensive lineman to Tennessee. Richmond’s decision to take his final official visit to Tennessee this weekend came after Butch Jones visited Memphis on Thursday to spend time with Drew and his family, and it doesn’t appear that Jones has let Richmond out of his sight since he arrived to town on Friday evening.
After dinner with Jones and early enrollees Darrin Kirkland Jr. and Kyle Phillips on Friday night, Richmond was personally escorted through the student section by Tennessee’s second-year head coach to his seat at today’s basketball game. The results were quite impressive, and ESPN2 cameras picked up on some of the action. Here’s a brief look at what Jones and Richmond have been up to so far this weekend:
