A 4-1 finish to the season capped by an impressive TaxSlayer Bowl victory over Iowa left a lot of good feelings about Tennessee and the direction of the program.
And that’s very understandable and justifiable considering the improvement shown, especially with returning quarterback Joshua Dobbs, and the amount of talent the Vols have coming back in 2015 in addition to the impressive recruiting that Butch Jones is doing right now. The Vols are already getting top-25 mentions in some early polls and expectations will be on the rise for next year.
But this is still a work in progress for Tennessee. There are still questions to be answered in several areas before the Vols can be mentioned among the SEC’s top contenders. Here’s a look at 10 questions the Vols will be searching for answers for over the next several months (*all classes mentioned are for the upcoming 2015 season).
