Tennessee continues to add more Peyton Manning memorabilia to its collection.
The Peyton Manning Room, located inside the football facility facing the practice field on UT’s campus, is now home to the game-worn uniform of Manning from his record-breaking performance against the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 19 of this year. Manning broke Brett Favre’s career touchdown record, throwing the 509th touchdown of his career on an 8-yard strike to Demaryius Thomas.

Butch Jones has been sure to keep Manning, UT’s highest-profile alum in the NFL, at the forefront of the program. Jones mentioned that Manning was the first person to text him after the Vols’ impressive 45-28 TaxSlayer Bowl win over Iowa on Friday. Jones also recounted a story of Manning texting him in 2013 to tell him that he “bleeds with him” after a tough UT loss.
Manning has made several visits to UT’s campus since Jones took over and travelled to watch the Vols play Georgia on his bye week this year.
