3rd Quarter
-The game is all but over as this quarter begins, but credit Vol players for working hard to add another two scores before the final whistle to make sure that the game was well out of reach. Tennessee secured victory and avoided an all-too-typical bowl letdown by giving great effort throughout the second half.
9: 54: This is why a mobile quarterback on a team with a strong rushing attack is so dangerous. The action here would suggest that Jalen Hurd is getting the handoff up the gut, and all of the Iowa defensive linemen and linebackers follow Hurd. The problem is that Joshua Dobbs keeps the ball and runs for an easy 20-yard pickup. Even with a month to prepare, Iowa elected not to leave a spy o Dobbs and played their run keys as they normally would. Huge mistake. This third down conversion would lead to the Vols’ final touchdown of the day.
If you got caught watching Jalen Hurd on this play, don't worry. So did the camera and every Iowa defender. https://t.co/DNcJHZ3dSS

7:53: Touchdown Tennessee on a well-designed keeper by Joshua Dobbs. Marlin Lane does a great job as a lead-blocker and Dobbs is able to walk in for an easy six.

7:17: Cam Sutton with a nice breakup of a 10-yard out right here. The Push by Corey Vereen forced an off-balance throw and Sutton was able to make a play on the ball.

5:07: The Dobbs interception was actually a nice job by him to step up into the pocket and find an open receiver, he just threw it a little hard and a little high to Pearson which resulted in the pick.
4:00: Kenny Bynum makes the most of his homecoming performance on this play with a big hit and some swagger afterwards.

2:38: LaDarrell McNeil does a perfect job in coverage on this play and is rewarded with the interception. It appears to be a cover two man with McNeil and Randolph over the top. McNeil patiently waits and hops in front of the pass as Iowa’s receiver drags across the field. This was a nice call by John Jancek and even better execution by McNeil.
