1) Alabama-Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl, January 1, 2015, 8:30 PM
Not much of a surprise as to who’s at the top of the list. Primetime game on New Years night. Top seed in the new playoff structure versus the team that many felt didn’t deserve to make the Final Four. A reprise of Saban versus Urban. Two insufferable fan bases. Oh yeah, this one’s beyond juicy, and I do expect it to be close!
Of course, you can bet I’ll still be watching Toledo and Arkansas State on January 4, as it is football, and it’s on TV, so….. It’s bowl season and there are always compelling reasons to watch any of the games, given the long CFB drought that will ensue. But make it a point to check out the 11 that I listed, and I bet you can’t go wrong. And of course, I’m imagining that there’s a 12th game you won’t miss either that’s happening in north Florida on January 2nd.
