Tennessee signed a top-5 class last year and just may sign another this season. Butch Jones can recruit, folks. The Vols’ 2015 class ranks 5th according to 247Sports, 6th per Rivals, 4th according to Scout and 7th per ESPN. One of the best classes in the country will, once again, sign with Tennessee this February.
Nearly every team that competed for a national championship in the last decade had one thing in common – they averaged a top-10 recruiting class for four years. The Vols are well on their way to championship level talent and they’ll unquestionably be a more talented team when they return to the field next year. Plus, current young stars like Joshua Dobbs, Jalen Hurd, Derek Barnett, Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Cam Sutton will have another year of experience and conditioning under their belts.
With that much young talent, the Vols will be a fun team to watch grow and develop. Watch out for the Vols in 2015 and beyond.
