These two teams have never met. That should change in 2018, when they’re scheduled to open the season in a neutral-site game in Charlotte, N.C., but that game is far enough in the future that it shouldn’t interfere with the possibility of this matchup becoming a reality. But as for this potential matchup, expect offense – plenty of it. WVU scores an average of 33 points per game, but also gives up 26.4 per contest. Both defenses would be in for a big challenge in this one in front of what would be a largely pro-UT crowd.
