New Orleans, Louisiana (Isidore Newman)
Top Offers
Arizona State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Southern Cal
Status
Bussey committed to Nebraska back in February, but he has recently taken up a strong interest in Tennessee. There is even some chatter that the Vols currently lead for his status and that the talented running back could be on the verge of flipping his commitment from Nebraska to Tennessee very soon. Bussey visited Knoxville for the Alabama game this year and cam away very impressed with what he saw. He has since said that he will be making another visit to Tennessee in the near future.

Where Tennessee Stands
There has been a lot of momentum for Tennessee with Bussey following his recent visit that earned him an offer from the Vols’ coaching staff. Bussey’s father is quoted on Omaha.com as saying that his son has a “soft spot” for Tennessee and that in order to hang on to him, Nebraska will have to start recruiting Kendall as hard as Tennessee’s staff is. Tennessee already has Alvin Kamara and Rocky Reid committed for 2015, but they are clearly looking for a 3rd down or “change of pace” back to compliment those two more “traditional” style of backs. At this point it seems that if Tennessee wants Bussey in this class, then he will end up a Vol.
