After adjusting his top-5 to include the Vols following a visit in early June, Allen publicly committed to Georgia a few weeks later. His top-5 consisted of Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan and Tennessee before his commitment and he has continued to take official visits to other schools. Expect his recruitment to be one that goes all the way until signing day.

Where Tennessee Stands
Tennessee was thought to be carrying some momentum with Allen a few months ago following his visit in June, but their pursuit of Drew Richmond apparently led them to put Allen on hold. The result was Allen committing to Georgia in August. Allen has remained in contact with Tennessee despite his commitment to the Bulldogs and actually took an official visit to Knoxville in October. Allen now appears to be set in his commitment to Georgia, but Tennessee would probably have a chance to get back in with him if they were to turn up the heat on his recruitment.
