Why: Clearly undersized at less than 280 pounds and in need of some physical development before being able to play on an SEC offensive line, Raulerson has been on the scout team and part of the development team all season as he tries to bulk up.
Future outlook: Butch Jones regularly talks about the offensive line being a developmental position, and Raulerson is getting that opportunity this year. His best hope is to follow the career path of somebody like Mack Crowder – a guy who came in way undersized, bulked up and learned the offense and technique for a couple years and then put himself in position to start his fourth year on campus. The ceiling doesn’t look to be super high for Raulerson, but it’s reasonable to think that he could be in the conversation for playing time a few years down the road.
