3. Herschel Walker running over Bill Bates
For all you old-schoolers out there. This was actually the first game I ever saw in Neyland, the season opener between the Vols and Bulldogs on September 6, 1980. Tennessee got off to a 15-0 lead. But Georgia would rattle off 16 straight, the dagger coming when Herschel Walker (who was an unknown freshman at the time) rambled for 16 yards for a touchdown, running over Bill Bates in process. The ensuing extra point gave the Bulldogs the unlikely win in Knoxville. Georgia went on to win the national championship that year.
