4. The Georgia Yip?
Georgia had a chance to pull even with South Carolina late in the game with a field goal from point-blank range. But kicker Marshall Morgan channeled his inner UMass and missed. The weirdest part? Morgan is an excellent kicker. Earlier that game he’d set an SEC record by making his 19th consecutive field goal, topping the 18 straight made 30 years earlier by none other than Tennessee’s Fuad Reveiz. So was this really the Georgia Yip or Fuad’s Revenge? Sure, Morgan had missed his previous attempt from 44 yards, so the streak was already broken, but still, right? Fuad’ll mess you up, y’all.
