Welcome to Rocky Top Insider’s NBA Draft HQ as former Tennessee guard and reigning SEC Player of the Year Dalton Knecht prepares to hear his name called as a likely lottery pick on Wednesday night.
Unlike previous years, the first and second rounds will be split between two days on Wednesday and Thursday. The first round will take place on Wednesday night from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York – and that’s where Knecht will be.

Dalton Knecht received an invitation to the NBA Draft Green Room in mid-June.
After a visit to Omaha to see Tennessee win the College World Series on Monday, Vols head coach Rick Barnes will also be in New York for the draft alongside his player. Tennessee posted a picture of Barnes boarding a plane headed for the Big Apple on Wednesday morning.
