The Tennessee Volunteers (58-12) will take aim on its first-ever Men’s College World Series National Championship this weekend as they face SEC foe Texas A&M (52-13) for the sport’s top prize.
No. 1 Tennessee advanced to the Men’s CWS Finals by taking care of business against Florida State (x2) and North Carolina this past week.
No. 3 Texas A&M, meanwhile, beat SEC foes Florida (x2) and Kentucky to make the final weekend.
The Vols and the Aggies will play a best-of-three series on Saturday and Sunday with a potential game on Monday night if needed. Saturday’s game will be at night and the latest start time of the slate while Sunday’s game will be under the sun in the afternoon.
